Company - Activities
Activities
Activities let you keep track of scattered meetings and encounters members of your organization have with prospects and clients. The full team transparency of our system makes it easy to see notes about a lunch another team member had with a client. Activities allow you to track happenings before they're part of a specific project, and you can also easily assign any activity to a project later on. An Activity is where you most likely spend a great deal of your time in the Tracker. If you keep track of all of your daily activities here you will save a lot of time at the end of the month when you have to report all those activities!
Company - Tasks
Tasks
Tasks are most often used as internal to-do's. Think of them as things the team needs to get done. You can assign these to other people in your organization, or to yourself.
Company - Emails
Mailbox
We do our best to auto-associate emails to Contacts, Projects, Companies, Engagements, Activities, Communities. but when are are unsure we leave them unassigned and allow you to make the association from this main Mailbox page. You can change associations at anytime. How does this work? Here is an example: You have a project called Project Timber. In whatever email system you are using you create a contact called "Project Timber". Copy and paste the unique email address provided by the Tracker and put it in this newly created contact. You will then BCC "Project Timber" whenever you send an email related to Project Timber and it will show up in the Tracker a few minutes later. It does not happen instantaneously! It has a few miles of wires to run through!
Company - Notes
Notes
We know you are asking, so what is the difference between a Note and an Activity!? We suggest a Note be a tidbit of information that you want to remember. Such as, someone shared with you that XYZ Company is planning an expansion, or you were told that The Enormous Company is wanting to expand into the area. You can also send a text (SMS) a Note or leave a voicemail to the Tracker! Go to Settings>Details>User Details>Phone Number Type, choose cell and then Save and then Verify.
Company - Files
Files
Manage all your files here. You can associate them to a specific project so they're easy to reference from the Projects area, or leave them unassociated if they're just general purpose files.
